New Member – Online Registration
Skibbereen Walking Group welcomes new members 18yrs and over. We invite you to join us on a taster walk (Easy or Road Walk only) before you join. The club has rules and conditions and it’s important that you agree to abide by them. By completing and submitting this form your agreement is implicit.
I apply for membership of “Skibbereen Walking Group“, an affiliate of Mountaineering Ireland (MI), and I agree to be bound by the SWG Constitution (link to constitution). I accept that walking and rambling are activities with a danger of personal injury and death. I am aware of and accept these risks and wish to participate in these activities voluntarily and shall be fully responsible for my own actions and involvement. I have read and will comply with the SWG General Rules and Guidance Notes for Walkers and Walk Leaders. (link to Rules document)
Once you have submitted this form, we will consider your application and, if successful, we will contact you to arrange subscription payment by cheque or cash. There is also a paper form available on the Membership page which you can print off and details for payment and postage are given on the form.
The SWG Treasurer will contact you to arrange payment.
